Meeting commenced at 6:05pm Eastern.

Ryan moved to accept the minutes from the March meeting. Michael seconded, and the motion passed.

Michael purchased the SSL cert and all is working well. Michael’s having some VMware issues with the new deployment but he is confident he will move past them.

Ryan asked about receivable updates. Randy stated that there are two 10G FL-IX members currently suspended, and three that are past due with firm commitments to pay within the next few weeks.

Ryan gave a quick update on gear deployments and shifts in Atlanta.

Ryan asked Randy if there’s any update on the Miami dark fiber request. Randy reported he’s working with a few vendors to get those quotes in but it’s taking time. Ryan clarified the current Netflix provided solution ends in Q1-2024.

Randy gave a report on maintenance activities later that evening, including backbone upgrades between QTS Miami and Equinix-MI1. Further, the OpenGear has been installed at QTS and is operating properly. The OpenGear at Equinix-MI1 still doesn’t work properly.
Awaiting OpenGear’s 3rd replacement to be shipped. Seems to be a bad batch of devices.

Randy gave a report on member upgrades, moves and new members turning up.

Ryan reported on his recent attendance at an Arista event.

The group welcomed Tyler back from his recent personal leave.

Ryan moved to adjourn the meeting, and Tyler seconded.
