Meeting commenced at 3:06pm Eastern.
Michael Costello moved to accept the minutes from the October meeting, Graham seconded, and the motion passed.
Randy provided a financial update. Similar situation as the previous month. With regards to payables, all bills are paid up to date. As for receivables, there’s still a lot of outstanding balances. A large number of invoices will go out in December and January.
Randy completed the audit with our liability carrier, and we only owed an additional $173.52 for the last policy period.
Per a request from Michael Costello, Randy will provide a draft budget to review at our next meeting in December, so we can approve it prior to January 1st.
A brief discussion was held regarding filing a lawsuit against a former member for non-payment.
Randy provided an update on CIX-NoVA. 12 or 13 members have been turned up so far there. There are a number of contracts pending signature, and some others pending turn-up. Traffic levels are peaking at 80Gbps.
Michael Costello provided an update on the Proxmox migrations in progress as well as new servers being installed in NoVA. All absolutely necessary servers have been built in NoVA, and Brandon has moved one server over to ProxMox in Atlanta. More on the way. Randy still needs to go to Miami to replace the Arista with the bad management port to complete the Dell/ProxMox turn-up at that site.
Randy presented a new transport solution for 365 Data Centers in Boca Raton and Ft. Lauderdale utilizing SmartOptics muxponders. We will e-vote once all quotes are in.
December meeting is being pushed a week later to December 9th. Randy will send calendar updates.
Tyler announced that this will be his last board call and Michael Costello made a motion to recognize and thank Tyler for his many years of service at Community IX. Randy seconded, all voted in favor and the motion passed.
